Bag 3.0 builds on dbteo’s design codes and functional foundations.
Created to offer more seamless ways to work and travel, it takes the form of a refined east–west tote, complementing the vertical orientation of bag1.
It carries forward the brand’s signature elements—secure zippered closures, clean lines, and a timeless, understated aesthetic.
Constructed with minimal hardware, Bag 3.0 is designed as a fold-away companion: easy to carry, pack, and rely on without effort.
Like all dbteo pieces, it is crafted from European raw hides. Bag 3.0 is made with German leather paired with Italian hardware. Our pieces are made entirely in Germany, reinforcing a commitment to precision, proximity, and enduring craftsmanship.
Bag 3.0 features a zippered top secured with our signature T-shaped toggle, designed to loop through a ring for added security. An external zip pocket transforms into a luggage sleeve, while an internal flap pocket fits phones, cards, and everything you need fast access to. A full-sized internal zip compartment fits laptops up to 14”, with the main compartment fitting laptops up to 15".

- Leather is a natural material. It carries imperfections, and is susceptible to scratches, stretching, and colour changes, thereby gaining a patina. We love a good patina!

German Leathers
The leather for Bag 3.0 is tanned in Germany, with hides coming locally from Germany or Central Europe. We are proud to have further reduced our supply chain, and continuously work to increase our use of local materials and working partnerships.
Our nappa and calf leathers are either smooth or slightly textured depending on the colour, giving you the choice for the kind of hand feel you covet. Apart from complying with the latest “Blauer Engel” environmental tanning guidelines, we hand inspect our leathers in our atelier in Germany for further deep marks or scratches. This assures you of the utmost quality to our exacting standards.
Handcrafted in Germany
Our bags are made in a multi generational family- owned atelier in Germany. We’ve worked through multiple prototypes together; shared construction expertise; and experimented with various leathers and hardware. Bag 3.0 can fit all of the following: An Iphone and a passport can slip comfortably into an external zippered pocket that can also convert to a luggage sleeve. Being generously sized at 28cm by 42cm, our internal zippered pocket can fit laptops up to 15". The main compartment at a depth of 15cm can fit in your travel sweater, gym shoes, and more.
